All in a Monday...

Oh Monday, the ever faithful and popular day for almost everything to go wrong. Today was my biochem midterm and usually on a midterm day, I'd like to take things easy ie: make time to do last minute cramming and catch up on other classes.

To start off the day, Seattle weather had its own plans. It rained HEAVILY and I mean big plump raindrops in which I could have taken a shower in. Here I'd like to add: Thank you for waterproof umbrellas and jackets. Whoever said they can get use to Seattle weather must have been joking around because I for one don't think I ever will since being here for a while now.

Anyways, one hour before said midterm, I had to stop by to quickly work on taking the mice out of their lovely cages so I can do experiments on them later. However, when I got onto campus, I realized I forgot my cell at home. It truly felt like I lost a sense of myself even though I'm usually not on my phone for that long (on the weekdays at least..haha).  Midterm was a daze. I heard tons of complaints about how hard it was, but I don't know since everything was memorizing every little detail on the powerpoint slides, it was either I knew it or I don't.  My fault for not having a better computer-like memory. Thanks Prof Wim Hol. Then in the middle of the day, my mentor sent a last minute e-mail asking me to do an additional experiment. Luckily I saw it in time. So to end my day, I spent my hours in the colony devoid of its usual bustle since everyone left for home. It felt a little creepy, but nothing new.

And here as I am reading this, I feel like it's one complaint on top of another. Sounds so bad. Maybe I'll delete this post later. I'll post more positive things later. Halloween is coming up! :)
